If you compare the bandwidth that verizon has compared to cable, and satellite you will see why it offers a better service. Not only is the internet faster, but if you decide to get Fios tv, both standard definition and high definition programs look better since they don't compress the signal as much as cable or satellite. Verizon fios is kickass, get it.

verizon fios is fast and its faster den cable to me in my opinion cuhz i tested my friend cable compare to my fios b4 and oh god cable was slow compare to my fios lol

FIOs is awesome...me and 2 of my roommates went down the hardcore way we got the 5mbs up and 30mbs down....and so far no problems what so ever..but we use cox as tv. but we do have 10 computers running at one time in our townhouse.

having the house switch to the full package of fios, phone, internet and tv w/dvrs im just curious to know if the 15mb plan will be a helluva alot more different in terms of dling and uploading and general surfing compared to my cable at cox comm. I did the only speed tests and it says my cable is doing 4mbs average...

 

i got fios, its ok i think it is faster then cox, tv wise , The menu and all acts funny some times, it goes loco on me .
