WTF, when i passed inspection, the guy just checked my lights, and horn, and if my exhaust was leaking. and i passed.

he never jacked up my car or looked under it or anything.

Yea those are the real chill guys...those are the only ppl I'll deal w/.

Some stations are CRAZY. They jack up the car, pull off front and rear wheels, so all sorts of thorough inspections, etc.

yeah, cause that is what you are supposed to do. the ones that are lax about it are the ones that havent had the hammer dropped on them for doing it yet. i have been an inspector for four years now, and in the last two years, i have seen them cracking down like a bitch on stations that let shit slide.

my advice to those with a hookup: dont give it up to someone! all i am gonna say on that

i accidentally stumbled upon 2, i used to take my old 92 toyota pickup to one of them which barely ran, that shit still passed.

Yea, becaust it's not like ground-controls are made to fit over koni-yellows, tokico's or anything like that. Even worse, they've never been proven to be good on a race track either.
