Default Is this true VA State inspection ??????

Is it true you wont pass the safety/state inspection in VA if you have coilovers????
Im in nova and lowered on tein coilovers, next month my yellow sticker will expire.

I dont think it will fail, but I could be wrong since it's altered suspension.

this is what is supposed to be inspected.

8. – INSPECT STEERING & SUSPENSION FOR: (Jack up front end as shown in Manual)

Wear in bushings, kingpins, ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends.

Looseness of gear box on frame, condition of drag link and steering arm.

Play in steering wheel.

Wheel alignment and axle alignment.

Broken spring leaves, and worn shackles.

Shock absorbers.

Broken frame.

Broken or missing engine mounts.

Lift blocks.

it wont pass if you have the shitcan versions (causing a loose spring or mount) aka ground control.

if you have a GOOD system, it will pass.

i dont fee like creating a new thread so ill ask my question in here. can you do emissions early? i have to do mine by april 06 but i just want to get it over with so i can put on a catless exhaust.

yes. being AWD, you will just have to do a curb idle sniffer test, not the loaded IM240 test most other cars have to.

HAH, funny guy. I should tell this to the people whose cars you work on down in BFE and see how they react. The guy who they think is ASE Certified is really a retard. I'm sure they would love to hear that.
