Im pretty sure you can get this called off because when he didnt read your rights that could win you your get our of jail free card. Consult a lawyer and see what he says, but im almost 100 percent sure your straight becase tahts a big fuckup

I know right. I'd hang my head in shame. If you were to dip out, would he have followed you with a high speed chase or does that cop have to stay within the boundaries of the school?

I thought I had been much better lately. I have been trying anyway. But there are certain situations when the truth just needs to be laid out on the table without pretty softeners.

It's called DragVa not Candycoated dragva. Seriously though, he knew he didn't have a license and then he goes and drives a car without a front plate in Virginia. The 2 plates thing is no new law. Common sense is all it takes. Is that asking too much?

your miranda right dont have anything to do with searching. if your miranda rights were not read, any questions he asked you can NOT be used in court. that is what they are for. whatever he asked you, and supposing you answered will not be allowed in court due to the fact that your miranda rights were not read, hence the "anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law."

anyway, are those cops fully functional police? or just campus security? i know at vcu the vcu cops are real cops and often times take richmond city calls if richmond city is too wrapped up in something.

no they can leave the boundries of the school... way back when i was a taking classes right after high school i guy i new was followed by the NVCC cop down route 7 in sterling and was pulled over by him about 1 mile away, he tried to run of the what he thought was a rent-a-cop but ended up getting busted hardcore for it..

and i dont think you have much of a case but you can talk to a lawyer.. there are times when cops try to get away with things and dont follow all the rules all the time and lawyers can find those holes and sometimes get you out of trouble..

Damn i got to the woodbridge campus and ive had my license plate on the dashboard for a year now and i go by the cops and they have never said anything to me... but i guess u could have gotten away with it if u had ur license. Also yeah he DOES NOT have to read ur rights like some people have said. A good thing to do is to talk to a lawyer good luck and stop driving without a license man u never know something else much more serious could have happened and then you would have been in some bigger stuff
