I got caught with 86 in 55 in the morning about a month ago...
I am looking for a the best lawyer possible that can help me out with this charge. HELP!

 

Any lawyer that regularly does business in the courthouse you have to report to should be able to get you off with just a few hundred dollar fine with no license suspension and no jailtime (unless there is more to what you did then just doing 86 in a 55).

 

Nothing wrong I did.. I just apologized to the officer and he told me to slow down next time. I also have a clean record and this is my first offence. I was going to try Robert Horan as my lawyer, anyone know him has any other suggestions??

I would go with Bob Horan, I have used him on many occasions with good success. He is well know in the FFX co courts and loudoun. Decent on the fees too.

 

Boxer are you crazy ? Anytime you get caught with a wreckless charge you lose your license for at least 30 days . I got caught goin 32 over and lost it for 6 months and got a 500 dollar fine as well as servin 10 days in jail down near richmond. FFX county wont give jail for 30 over the limit but the fine will be at least 300 plus prolly 3 months loss of license. Sometimes havin a lawyer pisses the judge and prosecuting attorney off too when you have a charge this bad. Theres no way to get out of it, lawyers are only good for gettin jail time suspended. I wouldnt waist the 500 bux for a lawyer. You're lucky is yer first offense, save yer money and plea no contest, dont say guilty...say no contest and apoligize, dont make excuses why u were speeding. I been thru this many times. Im currently on my 3rd consecutive suspension right now , I know this system well. Good luck

 

I didn't want to start a new thread to ask this, so I will ask here.

What do you guys think my punishment for a reckless not involving speed will be. I say reckless because the cop pulled me over for weaving between a few cars, but he was driving on the road he wasn't posted up checking speeds so he didn't get to clock me with radar, so the ticket says nothing about me being over the limit. I got a $400 lawyer that one of my friends used when he got a ticket. Do you think they will suspend my licence? Does it all depend on the judges mood? or what.

cops, judges, and people in general hate assholes like you who drive like that. You're not catching any breaks there.

 

Drive like what? Did you see how I drove? No, I wasn't driving wrecklesly, But i was noticibly over the limit and the cop just wrote down what he did because he wanted to get me for something, and he couldn't get me for speed because he didn't clock me.

did you not say that you were weaving in and out of cars and going fast? I know most people hate that shit when there is traffic and some asshole feels the need to fly in and out of traffic endangering others to save 30 seconds.
