Have your attorney write up a letter stating you have been found not guilty more then once for a specific charge that you keep with you. If you get pulled by the officer, pull this letter out and hand it to the officer with ur license and registration. Be very nice and polite to the officer the whole time during the stop and the letter should work. Remember, don't take the fact that you got pulled over personally. The officer doesn't have a personal vendatta out against you. He/she is just doing his/her job...and his/her supervisor probably said to be more firm with imported vehicles, and the officer is merely abiding by what their boss told them to do.

Hey, yea i was on 66 and the same happend to me (except i didnt get my car towed or anything like that) cops are just tryin to meet their quota. Which is bad for us, and for that illegal excess of horsepower or whateva kind of ticket you got is some bull... like u said how are they gonna give u a ticket for 170 when all those muscle cars got like 300, i only have 220 rwhp and i didnt get any ticketz.

Thats not necissarily true, the cop has to prove you knew the paraphenelia was in the car. For example, your roomate borrows your car and stuffs his pipe under the passenger's floor mat. A good lawyer should be able to get you off, however if it was in plain view or on you.......your sol

i got off a fellony drug charge because of this. i claimed i didnt know that it was there and that some one else left it there. i told them that i let people smoke cigaretts in my car because it was cold outside and that any of the 20 people that got im my car that night could of left it there.

there response was "why would someone leave $300 worth of drugs in your car"
my defense was "maybe because they were on the drugs"

Cops don't have fucking quotas, I'm so sick of hearing that excuse.

On the other hand, this cop seems like a professional douchebag, start a petetion online or something just for the hell of it, and use the emails to try and get stories of people who have had their cases dropped or proven not guilty, compile a list of examples, write a short paper about how this officer is doing more harm than good on the streets (ie.s not really protecting people, just freaking them out that much more/making them paranoid to drive instead of feeling safe.) Send all the documents his supervisor, and watch the shit hit the fan.
You could PROBABLY take those documents to some local news stations as well, but I'd venture a guess that most of the general public supports what he is doing.

You are correct there is NO Quota in FFX county, same as in many jurisdictions. The way the higher ups in the pd look at it is, a cop who doesn't write tickets isn't working. Hence the reasons you see radar, radar everywhere, and plenty of stops for bs violations. Since we all know traffic violations are serious crimes in VA.
