Well today im on my way home from work today, on I-66 well i get into the far left lane and start coasting at about 65-70 and im in my friends GSR for the day since my car is in the shop atm, and so im coming towards DC and i shifted right at one of those "Cop lanes in between the highway" well the car backfired and out came a poof of fire so a state trooper automatically comes after me,

so i pull over, and the VSP asked me to step out the vehicle and give him my license and the registration, well so i hand it to him, he goes back to his car and then comes back out, well supposedly the car was "hot" in meanin it wasnt stolen, but was reported street racing the night before...so he tells me to pop the hood so i do..then he say's that this car is "not street legal" because he can see the AEM Fuel Rail/Pressure Gauge and then next to it was the "NX" fittings for the nitrous system that my friend had installed * no bottle in the car*

well then he Immediately calls for back up, and a tow truck, i was arrested at 9am and the car is in a impound lot as of right now, i was bailed out 3 hours ago. so to Mr Officer Jenkins a big ol FUCK YOU!

so at the end of the day, i was givin 6 tickets

1st) Nitrous System was hooked to the "block" but no bottle to be found...
2nd) Illegal Exhaust
3rd) Excessive Display of Horsepower
4th) Race Ticket "which they have proof, but no proof of me driving"
5th) Illegal Fuel Distribution that is not of OEM
6th) No presence of a catalytic converter

yeah went on a cruise with my car and buddies gsxr and picked up 3 speed traps on 66
one by 28, one by ffx corner at the base of the hov ramp and one down past rt 50, valentine picked them all up. must have got you where we saw him headed east on 66.

this officer is black right? bc ill have to check but im almost 100% sure now that i think about it, that i got pulled for racing on 66 like 3 yrs ago and he let me off with a warning, bc i admitted my fault, really mean looking, kinda expected him to scream LICENSE AND REGISTRATION MOTHER FCKR!!!

 

if its your friends car, then with a lawyer everything should be dropped and maybe you can get jenkins demoted again

 

what the fuck is excessive display of horse power. was it n/a or turbo. if it was n/a then i cant see it being over 170whp. and all 03 cobras and new c6 vettes are pushing around 400whp stock wtf

 

N/A i got him to explain the "Excessive Horsepower" he said cuz he saw the fireball come out of my car and that is related to the car havin excessive display of HP

 

Excessive display of horsepower as in the backfire from the exhaust when he shifted gears. That is the only downside to removing cats, in that it makes ur car more likely to backfire and shoot fireballs. You don't need a 800hp car to qualify for the charge. If you redline a car for no reason whatsoever just pulling away from a light, then that could be excessive display of horsepower. Burnouts may qualify also, but I think that is a separate charge. Either way, get a lawyer, and you should be able to get all the equipment violation charges dropped or maybe lessened in severity.
