For $17K, there's a 100 other cars I'd choose first.

Sure but none of them would be as easy to modify.........unless you enjoy burning money on labor. To be honest, the reason I still have a honda is because I like to do the work myself and honda's are so easy to work on. Honda engineers designed their cars with the average joe and the average tools in mind. You think you could do a motor swap in your Z in your garage or even nug's garage? Shit, these days you can't even take it to a shop fearing it will get stolen.

Two words: Auto-Lock.

Challenging in this case = car in garage not running, bumming friends for rides, sitting in the back of a gutted hatch or spending more money on a rental car...no thanks! If I wanted a challenge, my PS2 and Madden 04 are connected via cable modem....and there are some fuckin' good players online boy.

i find my DSMs very easy to work on.. as well as my friend's MK3 supra, and a few friend's V8s... it's all in the eye of the beholder.. unless it's a rotary or a subaru, then there's no denying it's a big pain in the fuckin ass to work on

as for "easy to modify"... any car is "easy to modify", what is gained from the modification is what matters...

This from a guy that spends his money on JDM headlights, a bodykit, and a "auto to manual tranny swap".... You could have sold that car for MORE than a manual car sells for, BOUGHT a manual H22 car for LESS, and used the money you saved to build a turbocharged sleeper... Instead, you had to have your JDM bling... Preludes are heavy, underpowered, overpriced, and, Oh yeah- HEAVY... Granted, they are nice cars... Shit, I own one (black 93 Si, crower cams, IHE), but saying that the Civic is a piece of shit just shows how close minded you are.

dont worry bout where i spend my money, you dont even have a clue. Just asking why he's knocking preludes?!? not everyone owns a honda for weight reasons, or wants to stip out the whole interior, do a swap and ride around with no PS or AC. but thanks for caring DAN. how is 200Hp and 160 TQ in a 2700lb car underpowered? Besides the s2k, nsx, and itr, whats another honda with that kind of speed/power with out having to spend money on a swap? sorry to hear your hot happy with your Si
