location should be:
1. away from residential areas
2. away from blocking any traffic
3. someplace where no one will mind us being there
4. where stupid people won't go

i seen some good ideas, but can't think of anything else to add. i haven't been a member for too long and only attended 2 of the meets and i think its a great way to spend a friday night and something i'd definantly like to keep going too.
heres my suggestion i suggested it in the "wrap up" thread
i'm incharge of 2 commercial buildings right off the toll road in reston on whelie ave. i have suggested before to use the parking lots over here, i have gotten permission from the owners, things just cant get out of hand. just let me know.
we can fit up 800 cars easy!!!!!! ( i had to go count the parking spots)

its more than worth a try. but if the people count dies down during the winter, it might as well stay at FTC in the basement, less exposed to the elements.

I don't mind the idea of having police officer(s) help keep the order -- the only problem has already been mentioned: those of use whom have illegal exhaust etc are at higher risk.
Does Mac or other Mac-like people have the right to ask people to vacate the property?
Oh yea -- and Expo center? Bad idea.. been there once and while there WERE other riced out cars there.. .the police always stop by and tell ppl to leave.
