Its not a lake... its a resivour (sp?), ive gone there a few times, theres a tourny this weekend (Sunday). If you are to go out there please make sure you have a fishing license, the game warren are out there almost every weekend and I saw many people get busted when I was there last week. Anyone in C'ville that fish for bass, let me know, somewhat getting bored at fishing by myself but sometimes thats the best fishing. Depending on weather, I might be out at Burke Lake Sunday.

THANK YOU. I hate it when I see people catch a small bass and take it home. That's why I'm not releasing my spots.
And yes, texas rigging a plastic worn seems to be my best strategy for bass. I personally use Gary Yamamoto - Yamasenko worms. They're expensive but I've caught a few bass in the 5 lb range with them.

just came back from fishing my regular pond. Ended up catching 6. threw all back in except 1, took home to EATTT.. I'll probally end up going to Burke Lake tomorrow if its decent out. As far as web sites that have some good info.

I read the reports in the area, fishing tactics are pretty good sometimes as well

I've only been out twice this whole year. It's hard to find time but when I do it's random. I've never fished anywhere in C'ville. It might be an option next time I go out.

Drag VA Bass Tourney anyone?
