Yo *****, use a trout magnet or a jig with a plastic small worm. I hear shad are running.

Any true bass fishermen on here? I'm not going to name my spots for the sake of them getting fished out (i.e., Burke Lake). But there are quite a few nice places to fish around the FFX area. I caught a solid 3-4 lb largemouth last week in a small lake in FFX.

A question for bass fishermen, what are you types of lures/baits are you guys using around this time?

True Bass Master right here. Can't tell you were the hot spots are at Burke Lake but right now I would recommend Texas rigging a plastic worm, lizard, any creature bait and cast to area where their are stumps, brush piles. There are several ponds to fish for bass around here in Centreville. PM me and I might share some locations where bass are found in the area, just practice catch and release.
