exhaust cut out would solve all ur problems

 

I think you loose some power through an exhaust cutout tho. Depends where it is because the lack of back pressure. Yes?

 

jason, i was thiking about doing that $600 apex-i N-1 turbo back its the downpipe plus cat back so I believe theres no cat at all... then i can jsut go to a muffler place and have them redo the axelback to look like stock right? thats what your saying if im hearing it right

 

DAWG, I think we all know what u should do... OBX universal muffler. I think everyone will back me up when i say, that will give you the most power. Def the way to go. Good luck!

i will prolly get the cut out done in a few weeks after the other stuff is done and i pay for my insurance. Most likely i will get it done at Agile Auto ( www.agileauto.com ) since they are a sponsor of my club.
I heard from a friend on a diff forum that if ur car si not tuned for the cut out to be opened that it can actually hurt the car and the car will backfire all the time. is this at all true or is he wrong?

 

has anyone here had anything done at EB3 Motorsports in chantilly? i was thinking of having my stuff done there since they are so much closer than Agile in b-more.
What are some other shops in the NoVA area that you guys would recommend for a turbo install job?
