To answer your question there is a difference between HP to the wheels and at the crank. Stock an e36 M3 has 240 at the crank, with Alex's preformance upgrades however he's prolly running around 220 at the wheels and even more at the crank. I don't know if he's gotten it on the dyno recently. I hope that answers your question.

It prolly wasn't Alex since he's got a suspended license. If it was someone else was driving and he was riding shotgun.

i deff agree... but when you run "open down pipe" when u switch it from stock exhaust to open in to the atmosphere it will sound really LOUD but on a good note you will be able to hear the turbo spooling and that will sound pretty sick.
thnx dsmspyder... I forgot about the whole crank deal wow do i feel stupid. Mike where are you getting your electric cutout done at? And jason as far as trhe downpipe idea is concerned I understand what you are saying about backpressure sorry not in the best mood the other day. But you I think I can still pick up that turboback for 600 I jsut dont want that huge 3 inch tip... anyone know of cuistom exhaust plave where I can keep the the N-1 piping but change the tip from something other than 3" and try to keep it looking stock?

Haha.. wasn't me though I don't think.
Nah with mild tranny loss thats around 260hp at the crank, like the sig says though I'm having air/fuel ratio issues for some reason, I think my mods should be good for another 10hp if I fix that.
edit: Grant, I threw it on the dyno in ocean city.

heres a suggestion.
Buy a cat back exhaust and down pipe either no cat or high flow cat. if your worried about how the muffler "tip" looks just go have a muffler shop bend and weld the piping for you and buy a universal muffler with the style YOU like. Besides if you do any bigger turbo then a T-25 ur going to need atleast 3 inch from the turbo back.
