I got a 94 civic si hatch. I have a viper alarm on it. Now when I press the unlock button, the passenger side opens but the driver side doesn't. When I stick the key in to unlock it manually it won't open. Any clues or ideas on how I get my ass inside release it? help a brother out. Thanks

could be a bad solenoid... check your helms manual..

 

do a RHD conversion and you should be all set

I had this problem back in the day with my 92 civic.

Check the door harness, sometimes it comes loose when they go to install the wires there, do your (power) windows stop working too?

 

Door lock actuator is probably siezed up and needs to be replaced.

 

had the same problem on my del sol where hitting unlock would do nothing to my driver side door. i just took my door panel apart and fixed the positioning of my actuator.

 

have you checked around your lock and windows for signs of your car being tampered with? this happen to a car i had years ago. 3 days later it got jacked.
