1989 Honda XR250R with rebuilt engine
bought this bike about 8 months ago or so. The rings were shot on it but I thought it would go for a while. I got sick of putting more oil then gas in it so I had the engine rebuilt with a Wiseco .020 over piston kit. The cylinder was rebored, new gaskets were used, and the valve seals were replaced. All work was done by a local mechanic who is a member on the board (skr00zloose) and can verify that its solid. The fork seals were also leaking so those were replaced along with new boots. The exhaust has been gutted by a previous owner. The chain and sprockets are newer and the tires are in good condition with a lot of life left. The front looks nearly new. Everything works on it and it starts in 1-2 kicks. I have put about a tank of gas through it over 3 riders since the rebuild. No title but I can do a bill of sale if desired. Delivery to the Washington DC area can be arranged as I am up that way a lot
looking for $850 OBO for it as I paid $500 and put $400 into it but am also open to full or partial non-MC trades. I'm only getting rid of it because I'm moving cross-country in a couple months and only will have room for 2 bikes. I would be very open to an xbox 360 + cash trade
this was originally bought from CBR600F4 from the board
