Ok. I'm in need of help. I have a 01 Xr250R, problem is, I need a new cylinder head.

I haven't tried calling a local Honda dealership, thats a last resort.

If any of you guys know any places that sell aftermarket stroker kits, head kits, cams, etc.. I'd appreciate it.

I'm a 2stroke guy, so this is the first time I've had a problem with a fourstroke. My neighbor locked up the cam by over-revving it, and he is paying for it all aswell. So if it's cheaper to get aftermarket parts, I will get aftermarket parts.

what exactly do you need i might be able to help. are you looking to replace whats broken and add some aftermarket as well? lmk what you need.

Honestly, what ever is cheapest.

IMO this bike is slow. I would like for it to have a little more pep....

If you can get O.E. parts, I'll throw it back together. I don't rag the bike, I just ride trails and enjoy myself on the rear wheel.

I still haven't called the dealership. Lol.

bikebandit.com for stock. XRSonly.com is another good place for everything you can think of including big bore kits and other stuff like that. My xr250 is getting rebuilt as well

I appreciate it. I don't care that the bike is gutless up top, I just wish it had a little more torque.

I guess I could gear it up some.

well if the bike it sooooooo slow. get it bored... << dont do that i was kidding, but go get a yz250f. ive had two. and they are prettttty dammmnnn nice.

No thanks. The bike is paid for, and I'm keeping it. I got it for free, thanks to my brother.

I let the cob-webs get to it. I'm now searching again.

I've contacted a couple salvage yards, waiting on getting back to them.

I just want to ride.
