Re: Logout issues?
My theory is this: if you are logged in already, but then click on a link to the board sent from somewhere other than the board (ie if someone IM's you a link), another cookie with your login info is created. When you try to logoff, the first cookie is altered, but not the second, keeping you logged in no matter how many times you try to logoff until you clear all the drag-related cookies manually.
This has happened to me on a few occassions, but only when the following happens: I view the board using vBulletin3 style; someone sends me a link to a thread/post on the board, and when clicked, takes you to the thread/post in vBulletin2 style (either because the link they sent was copied from them viewing in vB2 style, or while not logged in). A new cookie is generated. After that, I can't logout of the board, or even login to the admin control panel until I clear the newly created cookie.
My lazy way of remedying this is to use a cookie cleaning program. I personally use MRU-Blaster in conjunction with it's scheduler to automatically clear all cookies I don't have marked as being on my "ignore" list every 2 hours or so.
