I've thrown a sport compact show before. I've also thrown a variety car show before (everything from old to new, american to jdm). I understand the concern of having a bunch of cars that look the same. That is why we have so many classes. This way it's not a bunch of civics with I love JDM plastered all over thier cars, but hopefully a vareity of vehciles.

To answer your question thermalfi'd16 about if non japanese cars can show. Yes there is one class for them. - JDM inspired (non Japanese vehicles only)

This show is still only talk and I am open for all ideas. We've got the trophies squared away and now all we need is to finalize the location. If anyone has any ideas about that please PM me or reply in here. I will print this thread and discuss the ideas with the other president of VERSATILE which is the club who will be throwing the show.

jdmprelude21 - do you know of any places in Va Beach that would be worth looking into? We have a few scouted in Richmond but it's always good to have more options.

I'm open to the idea of a nice car show. I'm not going to guarantee I'll attend, but most likely I'd make an appearance. I think you have too many classes though.

 

SignfcntOthr - What class(es) would you eliminate?

 

Start small, because I don't think you'd have a huge crowd. And I know I favored the Honda/Acura class, but I tried to limit it as much as possible.

Dude... there hasn't been a truely jdm Corolla for years. The current jdm Corolla looks like a larger Chevy Aveo. Nobody wants the japanese parts on their ZZE Corollas. They mostly buy shitty chrome wheels, crappy graphics, and ugly tail lights.

Thanks for considering/mentioning something other than a AE86 Corolla though.
