SO, i needed to chance my shifter lever (foot one) and on e of my rear set allen screws is STUCK than a mothafucka... So, i tried and tried and its stripped... i tried this kit and the steel thingies to make that take the screw out (from pep boys) and the bitch broke and that lower rear set screo has NOT moved a fuckin mm... so i went and got this other reverse drillie thing from LOWES... hopefully that'll work tonight...

anyways, my question is (for the ones who didint feel like reading all that bull)

where can i get one of those TODAY!!!!!!???? like, im trin'na ride mang!!! its nice and im about to slit my wrist vertically if i miss any more days of riding... ya dig? WHERE? im in virginia beach, by laskin and 264. . .

I've read this twice and I can't figure out what you're trying to find. Are you looking for the screw, the screw removal kit, or...?

Take one out that isnt stripped and go to lowes and match the threads

 

yea.. the thing is that they wont have an allen screw... i would like it to be the same.. i'll call cycle world to see if they even stock that

 

Lowes does have allen head machine screws, my old Suzuki was half assembled with 'em!

 

Take the good screw to True Value, Ace Hardware, or other not-as-commercialized-as-lowe's-or-home-depot hardware stores. They'll have what you need at a decent price.

there's that 'screw' store on indian river near sparrow rd. Have a sign 'We got Stuff' or something in the front. across the street and down a block or two from the Colonial Downs Off track betting place (that used to be the giant thrift store).

Thats where i got all the hardware for my old car.

 

cycle world didnt have it... im gonna hit up teh haredware stores today after work,...... the clock is ticking and i dont wanna die from no-ridin disease.

 

tidewater fasteners off ingleside carries allen head specialty screws....... just bring one to match.
