Default Title issues.

When I got the title from the previous owner of my dirt bike he said that he never signed the title after he bought it. Would it be fine for me to just go to the DMV and say that I bought the bike from the guy on the title or should I tell them that he never signed it, just incase?

just tell them you got it from the guy who's name is on the title. not that they ever ask, but people do it all the time when the flip cars or bikes.

If his name is on the original title he has to sign it over to you. Then when you go to the dmv they will assign a new title in your name.Dont waste your time, without his signature on the title they wont even talk to you.

The actual person I bought the bike from never changed the title over to his name or anything. Right now I just have a title with the original owners name on it. So I can just take it to DMV and tell them I bought it from the guy on the title?

i know what you meant, and yes, as long as it has a matching name and signature, you're fine.
