Maybe he ment on the front forks. I've seen lowering straps.

You should lower the fronts to even it out.

I am thinking about doing that, but I am not sure if I want to keep it lowered being that I am 6' 1". I asked the old owner if he had the stock parts, but he said that the shop that put the kit on did not give them back to him.

Does the lowering link have multiple holes on both ends? Some lowering links have multiple holes because essentially, it replaces the stock links. If it does, then you can raise the bike without needing the OEM links.

And I agree, you should just raise it back to stock instead of lowering the fronts because of your height.

I know that it is semi adjustable in the fact that I can lower it more, but I am not sure if it has a stock setting.

Sitting on it I actually like it at the current height.
