R6 Information
people that think like that don't need to own motorcycles. They should buy civics with retarded exhausts and big, fake carbon fiber wings, and cover them with "racing stickers".
for the record, you can MAKE lowering links for $10 worth of materials and 15 minutes of your spare time. It's pretty damn simple to drill holes in a piece of bar stock.

i cant remember if the 05s used the triangle dog bones or not
Please post a pic! I want to see this. If it was lowered properly with dogbones, then raising it should not cause understeer.
Also, am I correct in assuming the front was not lowered, just the rear?
If so, wow.

No problem. I will take a few pictures when I get it to my place. And yes they did not touch the front at all, just the rear.
I agree with other comments that if you plan to do something like this do it right to keep from having problem down the road.

you need to take the dog bone that is in your bike now out and use that as a template. Then make adjustments from there.
Guys,
I have the bike at home now and I looked it over and it seems to have the right parts on it to lower it as far as I can tell. I noticed that it has the aftermarket lower link and dog bone. I am not sure why the owner said that it had a spring compressor or something like that.
I might keep it at the height that is for now and then see if I like the way that it rides.
Thanks for the help.
