i didn't mix words by saying that... what i meant was if you go into beginner and your too fast for that group you'll get bumped into intermediate anyways, its not like your locked into the beginner group for the entire day if you choose to start there.

But he's never ridden on a track before so he's not past that level, so he should do a beginner course just to become familiar with track riding... i imagine TPM school is run a bit different than what I experienced with STT

no i had one instructor ride with me and he took me past everyone and we kind of did our own thing while the other instructors rode with the other people... but we were riding hard passing other riders and not just down the main straight, i'd say i probably rode 95% as hard as i did my next time out in intermediate except i didn't have 30 guys just as fast pushing me to go faster
