Motorcycle Learner's Permit
I got my permit last April but some things came up and didnt get a bike as expected so im trying to get one now but my learner's is about to expire on the 20th of next month does anyone know if i can just renew them or do i have to take the test over again. I got my g/f to call the dmv and they told her that there was some sort of mistake and my learner's should be good for 3 years instead of one but im not sure I havent had a chance to venture to my local dmv just wondering if anyone knows about this. Thanks in advance.
god i'm glad i didn't have to go thru all that permit crap.
i believe you can get a permit at 16 too, but don't quote me, i'm old, things were different when i was first getting my M stamp.

the laws change its only good for 1 year and you do have to take the test over again.. its alot easier to get try and go take the road test and actually get you liscens... i think you can get a learner at 16 and 6 months but i dont think you can get your liscens until 18

For realz? Damn, they must have changed things over these few years. Although I was focused on getting the M-class and not the permit. I thought it worked the same as the M-class, since the M is an endorsment of your regular drivers license. Are you saying you have to get a whole seperate permit to ride, or do they add the an M-permit endorsement to your license?
Thats why i said 3 years, i'll try looking it up though.
