Alright thanks, I never plan on getting a 250. And now a blast is out the picture. This guy has a 92' Yamaha Seca for sale in Philly for $1500 you think thats a good deal? It kinda old though.
His 500 may be a '91, but it's in good shape. I've ridden with him several times and his bike always keeps up with my '99 500. Plus, 1k for a '91 with relatively low miles is a good deal.

Harmless voucher for Grom.

Is Grom possibly looking for a new bike?

as long as its in decent working condition... i worked with a guy who had one of those as his only means of transportation, i think he was on his second one and they both had nearly 100,000 miles on them, and he didn't care for them at all so reliability doesn't seem to be an issue with them... but they aren't very sought after bikes so you might be able to get him lower than $1,500

Yeah bump a buell, the 500's mentioned and f2's and f3's make for great beginner bikes. Shiat that bandit skr00z sold woulda been perfect. The kawi 500 grom mentioned ive rode with plenty of times, good bike and for 1k its a good price, definitely good as a starter bike. The seca's u can find for cheap 1.5k price range every now and then but i can't speak for how good/reliable they are first hand.
