I bought an 07 ZZR600 for my first bike and don't regret it one bit. I figured I would either outgrow a 250 or 500, or not be as interested in riding as I was, so getting one of those would be a bad decision economically when I chose to get rid of it.

damn I new there was something wrong with me. but a 250 yes can be fun but most everyone who starts on a 250 upgrades in a very short time. I have been riding for 15years and still prefer a 600 over anything else...

my first (street) bike made 40hp, and I rode with guys with 120+ hp. I never had a problem keeping up, unless the road was long and straight, and that's boring anyway. Anyone can twist a throttle and go fast in a straight line.

Too bad there's no decent roads around here
