sweet its an F3 go for it! just ride safe homie and dont let riding with friends encourage you to pin that throttle only go as fast as you feel comfortable with. dont give into peer pressure ( im guilty of it) ride within your own limits and have fun!

Sup Jason , find a bike so I can buy some of your monte's mods Let me know if you get one and we can go ridin.

I would say start with a 250 or 500 ninja if you have never rode a dirt biike or street bike before. If you can drive a manual transmission and can learn throttle control I would say go with a 600. Good luck

CBR600F4-
Thanks for the info I reallly appreciate it.

I'm not in the military but I'm going to register for the MCSV course this week for the first available class (prob latter this summer)

I've already got my learners last august when I had to renew my drivers.

I've got some other questions but I'll prob drop you a pm.

Abysalone-
Long time no see man. I've actually thoug about selling the monte for a truck but I don't think I can bare to part with the monte but who knows. But I hope to find a decent deal on a used 600cc bike this fall.

Buy the 600, take your time, stay slow in the corners. And just have fun. You can kill yourself on a 250cc bike just as easily as you can on a 1300cc bike. Its all about rider control and rider awareness. Pay atention to your surroundings respect your right grip ( throttle ) and youll be fine. Get a little ballzy before you are well practiced and you will pay for it one way or another, no doubt. Get some gear too.

I learned how to ride on a 99 F4 CBR. I put 1000 miles on it and then moved up to the busa. And had no "formal" training. RESPECT!

Good luck, and make sure you think your decision through so you dont get tired of what ya got to early cuz it may be "weak" for you liking.

Hope this helps and take it easy.
