Ok so my sarcastic post spawned all of this.
To RICE ETR: Yes I am the one bitching about it, yes I have no life(well not during the week anyway), and I have been whining like a little bitch through out this whole thread.
Obviously we disagree on this. And we like cars for different reasons but we are car guys. I just need to know this one thing before I lay this to rest. If MM's car had 300hp would it still be hot....or the hottest car in richmond?
I know you dont care for exotic supercars, 4cyl's, or most cars that are road coarse prepped.....so we or me vs most of richmond will never agree on these points.
But I dont think MMs car is a looker plain and simple lets forget about all the handling, breaking bullshit and the purpose of the car (i.e drag, circuit, autox). I just cant grasp how people think it is. Yes it has 1000hp which is cool but thats about it.

Having that much horsepower and driving around town...how much fun is that? i mean the maz speed limit i saw was 65mph on Rt 288. So having a big hp camero thats stock looking does what on the streets? I wouldnt mind having that much hp but then what? do you want a trophy? then what? exactly. You have all the power and can only use it at the drag strip. This town sucks and i cant believe people still get excited over stock looking v8s with turbos.(no offense to MM or anyone else.just making a statement) Whats next? turbo sunfires?

Are you serious?? "the streets are yours" and you aren't worried about HP? If you have to ask why have that much then obviously have never ridden in a car that fast. Sure you are only supposed to go 65... but it's cool to get there faster than probably any other street driven car or bike for that matter out there.
Why do bikers like their power-weight ratio, if they can only go 65?..... exactly. You my friend are VERY confused! To say what fun it is, you might as well not even mod your car as that's what 99% of people are after, more power.
And on the looks.... you obviously have the ricer mentallity as you can't leave the car stock looking.. you have to add all the shit to it in order for it to be cool. I like the way my car looks... I like the hood, the spoiler, the 11" Zr-1's out back... I like everything about it.. so I am not going to change it. If I add decals or something it would look like hell. GM just did the shit right from the factory... get a better looking car than that wagon you are driving and you won't have to change the looks of it
MM's car looks fuggin sweet too... and yes I would drive it if it only had 300hp... would it be the hottest?.. well I it wouldn't help it be the hottest, that's part of the whole thing.
If a ferrari didn't handle the way it did, would it be as hot? You are into handling, I am into power.. that's what I like and it's hard to have looks, handling, huge power, creature comforts, and be driven everyday.. and that's why I think MM's car is one of the top cars I have seen around here because it does all of those. I can't believe you are comparing MM's car (and bitching about it being stock looking) to a stock exotic car.. wtf?
Wouldn't the ferrari be more desirable if it had twice the hp it does now? If you don't think so, than you are foolish.

As far as the looks department go, what do you guys expect MM to do? Stick a GT wing or something? Go with some wild crazy paint? To me, those Weld wheels(There Weld, right?) look hot as hell. That's all he needs. I'm not all about hp myself. Hell, I think I'd be happy with a 15 sec car. I like balance in handling and hp, but I still think MMs car is one of the hottest street cars.

Well obvisously your wheels arn't stock, so I guess you're a ricer too huh? You just label any import driver a ricer, which is ignorant. I mean you are bound and determinded to let everyone know I am a ricer... and you don't even know what car i drive!!!! lol Give me a break. It's not that GM did shit right for the factory it's that you don't have hardly any other options. Personally I think your car looks better in stock form too (body wise) than w/ aftermarket parts too.. but it's still ugly in stock form. And the interior is about as cheap as a GEO. Pull your head outta your ass and realize fbodys arn't gods gift to car guys, and understand there are more things to cars than HP.
