Tastefully modified and extreme's are two diffrent things, and yes wire mesh is nasty.

I DON'T think all stock cars are the best looking.. gawd damn.... I just think a few cars like the ZO6, SS camaro, etc.. look pretty damn good close to stock. You can mod the hell out of whatever you have... and it could very well look fukin sweet... but you have to do it right. Who's to say it's right? well since it's my opinion.. how about me?
Here is an example... a few years back I was supposed to race some green civic hatch.. it had a slight cowl hood on it, similar to a stang cowl hood, was lowered just enough, had a nice set of polished Al wheels on it and slightly larger stainless exhaust, not that huge out of place muffler most run. The interior had the pillar gauges and black corbeau seats, and it was SUPER clean. The engine didn't have fukin yellow loom all over it and flashing shit everywhere. It was just a nice car and funcional aka quick car... single turbo. I honestly would want one just like it... I don't like the higher HP fwd torque steer thing.. that sucks and is no fun to goof of in like a rwd, but it was probably the best looking honda anything I have ever seen.

damn this thread sucks... you guys are taking so much time and effort to write pages and pages but i seriously doubt either side is hearing much of it or at all being persuaded
i don't know specifically which one it is, but the hottest car in richmond isn't anything that cost less than $100,000 when it was new, i don't care how much power it makes now, how it handles, how many car shows it has won, how many tv's it has, or how sentimental it makes you feel
diablo, 360 spyder, noble m12 gto, amg's, stuff like that, those are all possibilities but from there it becomes a matter of opinion, but there is no way any mortal car like a firebird or old chevy can be in the running for hottest car, its just not possible, there is nothing off the show room floor that can touch those cars on the drag strip, at an auto x, on a road course, in a dyno shoot out, in a car show, and in terms of technology and luxury... you could build a car like a supra to be better in every single catagory than said exotic, but no matter how fast or nice it is you can always say "but its just a supra", same goes for a trans am or a mustang or a integra or a mr2, they are and always will be common cars regardless of how bad ass they might perform, an exotic will always have that undescribeble appeal if for no other reason than you know how much it cost and how few are on the road... a viper, nsx, or 911 with ALOT of work maybe, but even then those are border line because they just don't have a soul like a 575 or a murcielago
