Tire Pressure Monitoring System
I mainly deal with carquest and napa. We have the AZ parts catalog but they rarely have what we need nor are their prices competative nor the delivery as carquest and napa.
yeah, we have a CQ and NAPA in town, but i do NOT use the NAPA. seems the employees are still bitter that i came to town to work, and are under the impression that the guy that used to do what i am doing now was fired. he quit cause he did not want to work with someone (not to mention he never showed up on time, and never fixed anything) the CQ is pretty good, after i showed them that our sales were triple in a month, they are more then happy to get me what i need as soon as i need it.
as for NAPA, i have been friends with the owner of the Christiansburg store for four years, and he is bending over backwards for my business. he has three runs a day (keep in mind this is 45 minutes one way) to my shop. as of Jan 1, i am going to be an Autocare Center through him, and the shit wil hit the fan when the local NAPA finds out. i gave them all the chances i could, and they did not want my business. so i am now trying to help people that are wanting to buy that business.
i do not like Autozone or PDQ cause of the warranty issues, poor customer service, and some parts are shitty. you get what you pay for on electrical parts

I would have sat down with that Napa center and had a talk with their sales manager in the beginning. Then again I don't know the full circumstance as you may have been busy as hell. However being you are going to be under a buddy and he is doing kickass work, it would be funny to have him brag to that other Napa how good you are and how you increased their sales. In this market Assumption is the mother of all fuckups. That Napa lost alot of sales and growth. Your buddy is reaping the rewards, as are you.
Best of Luck to it Joey.

i called the manager of the local shop about five times to get them to come over and discuss a filter changeover as soon as i got there (the one i did was a 450 dollar order, and about 100 bucks a week in restock) with no response in three weeks. i called several times to get a core and return pickup with no luck. their store is less then a mile and a half away, yet i consistently had deliveries from the cburg store (45 miles away) FASTER then from the local store. i spent four weeks trying to get shit straight, but was treated like a moron the whole time, so they are out of a SERIOUS cash paying customer.
its alright though, i am working my ass off to get the owner of the cburg store to buy the local store. best for both of us. the local store doesnt have a head set in stock for a small block chevrolet, if that tells you anything. and i had a customer bring her car up there one time for an oil change (they have a shop in the back) on her 02 RSX. and they didnt have an oil filter, had to order one.
i keep three in stock
i just had my new employee over for dinner, and i showed him how to do a resignation letter for his boss (he is working for an excavator now) so he will be starting in two weeks, sooner hopefully
we have sucessfully threadjacked this thread to death
