It's ok... I had a '95 GT 5-speed as my first car. It was laser red with chrome slanted 5-star wheels. I don't get why people knock them... they look nice, are nice, and handle well.

I love the Elise, I really do, but I don't think you are getting $50,000 worth of car when you buy one.

I say Esprit.

I just dont see myself buying that when I can buy a evo for considerably less and build it to destroy that car in every possible way imaginable

A turbo Elise would be the hot business.
Ofcourse, if I get an elise it will eventually be turboed. All my cars are turboed thats like a given

i agree with the wok, an elise is not much car for the money. Also i have seen you 1 or 2 times before and i remember you being about 6feet or so and not being a little guy, so i think you may not like getting in and out of an elise. your toyota was much bigger so the change may suck. if i had about 10grand in cash(im guessing you will have a little more) i would get a porsche 968 turbo or 944 turbo. if i remember correctly you are an experianced fabricator and turbocar modifier. you can make so much power very cheaply on these cars and nobody around here has a modded one and the suspension available for these cars are amazing.
