Roomate dynoed her WS6 today
Whoa there cowboy! No need for drama.
Dave was only noting that the turbo appeared to be the weak link in that combo due to the strong diff between the HP and torque.
Opinions of whether or not a larger (or rebuilt) turbo would help bring the numbers back into alignment should be the topic of non-confrontational discussion.

No drama, just trying to figure out where the reasoning is. Weak link of what combo? The turbo gave him both the hp and the torque over the n/a Gen III LS1 motor.
He may want to phrase his comments correctly. It's very easy to tell someone to go do something, than it is for you to go do it and fund it. I don't think David is willing to dump another 5+K into the motor to make more hp when right now the current setup can safely make more hp, but just has to fine tune everything.
Brandons Turbo made more torque then it did hp Afterall is anyone going to complain that your making over 500 rwhp and 700rwtq?

with that kind of difference between power and torque... just proves my theory that his turbo is weak sauce... he needs a bigger turbo on that thing....

not true....it means his peak torque is down around 3,000rpm because the turbo is small enough to make low rpm positive boost.....
low RPM peaks are for torque...high rpm peaks are for hp.

Yeah you go tell him that. This is his 2nd motor and still having turbo issues. It won't hold boost, and the turbo needs a rebuild. I guess 500 hp on 15 psi(if that and the turbo issues) is not good, then I don't know what is.
You want to fund his 4500 dollar motor and bigger turbo? Then I am sure he won't have a problem upping the boost back to damn near 20 psi.

He does not have a motor problem. He has a turbo problem. The turbo won't hold boost. As for flow, the LS1 motor has one of, if not the best flowing heads and intake on the market. A grand national is not an all aluminum motor that has high compression either.
