With just a lid, and a cutout as her only mods she pulled 321 rwhp 330 rwtq with the cutout capped and 330 rwhp 341 rwtq with it open and it's a damn AUTOMATIC!!! Hmmm looks like tooquick4most would have a stroke seeing a LS1 dyno that number. Then again he would have to say those two simple mods are worth 75 hp too

I can honestly say she has the highest auto LS1 with that very little mods done to pull that much hp. hell my buddies have M6's with more mods and pull 335 rwhp.

 

Damn, I only pulled 300 with no mufflers and open intake... but then again it was on this shitty "mustang dyno" that was giving whack numbers all day. Anyway, it sounds like she has one of those factory freaks

Jesus Christ, I don't know why everyone on thinks that all automatic transmission equipped cars are slower. That is not always the case.

 

not slower (potentially faster and usually more consistant), but generally an auto trans isnt as effecient as a manual, so youll see about a 5% difference in rwhp

 

Yup, and Auto will lose more hp from the motor to the tires than a manual.

with that kind of difference between power and torque... just proves my theory that his turbo is weak sauce... he needs a bigger turbo on that thing....

 

Yeah you go tell him that. This is his 2nd motor and still having turbo issues. It won't hold boost, and the turbo needs a rebuild. I guess 500 hp on 15 psi(if that and the turbo issues) is not good, then I don't know what is.

You want to fund his 4500 dollar motor and bigger turbo? Then I am sure he won't have a problem upping the boost back to damn near 20 psi.
