I personally wouldn't let Ed Clark touch my car, every car I've seen in person he has touched has been fucked up one way or another. Including mine, which is the reason I sold it and went to the darkside.
Interesting. I'd like to hear a little more about this. I've known Ed since '99 and he's always impressed me with his knowledge.

I'll make it quick and simple for you guys.

BCisme, has had his car worked on heads/cams/tune at Steen, the 2nd time he went in after already having Comp 270s in it he goes to get Comp 278s put in. Makes less power, and tells me he wants DTP to retune it.

Dr. 4.6, had 05 GT Stang dynotuned at Street Motorsports by Ed using SCT xcal. set up the a/f the same as a 99-04 at 12.8:1 when it needs to be 12.3:1. Also the 05 GT is automatic, which is a 5spd. Dynoed in 3rd when it needed to be in 4th which is it's 1:1 gear. While driving 05 in traffic the car started going crazy, knocking, and going into fail-safe mode. We put the stock mailed tune into it, and it ran fine.

My buddy Brian, has a 02 Procharged GT Stang. Fast as hell, tuned correctly, but blew MAFs off 3 times due to Ed not fastening them on right.

Me, had my 03 GT auto dynotuned with a SCT chip at Street Motorsports by Ed Clark. After being tuned it had power, but driveability was shit. Wouldn't idle to save it's life, even after I put a idle air control valve on. Also shortly after tune, tranny started to slip as well.

Me and Ed have gotten into shitty battles, in which he threatened to sue me among other things. Ed is a pain to work with, and rushes through his work in my opinion. He might have been better before, but his work currently is far from acceptable.

I have dealt with "DTP" Dynotuned Performance in Chesapeake with nothing but good results. Steen themselves do good work, but having Ed has their tuner takes away their chance to earn my business had I still had a Mustang. DTP's Brent Hughes professionally tuned 2-3 of the 6-7 2v N/A shootout cars in what I believe was the June issue of MM&FF. Brent knows his shit, and got the 05 GT running where it needed to be.

There was a guy on MW who gave his car to Steen and ED. The car was there for a few months installing an engine and ED couldn't get it tuned. Guy from NJ comes back takes the car and takes it elsewhere and the GT makes almost 600 rwhp now.

I dont know the details, but he was ranting and raving a few months ago. He liked Steen, just hated Ed.

Yeah, Steen is good, however Ed is not. Ed's problem is he does it as a 2nd job on part-time, hence the reason you have to usually try to work around his schedule, and his half-ass jobs.

Wow, I've never heard such negative things said a/b him. A lot of the Lightning guys swear by him. As far as Brent Hughes, don't forget he is also the tuner of the MAS cobra

I love this thing, the ride, the power, the amenities. But, my skill of driving is lacking which gets annoying sometimes.

Ed also advanced the shit out of my timing which is what made it throw all of the lights and go into fail safe mode. Brent Hughs and DTP .
