I will be stateside though for 12 months with an option of an extra 12(my Division is also sending key members for a tour in Iraq coming soon) at Ft. Leonardwood, MO as a Drill Sergeant training new privates through IET, and BCT(boot camp and MP school). Lots of extra money and I still get all my leave and what not.

I graduate Drill Sergeant School January 22nd and will prolly get my orders with my diploma and my campaign hat. LOL.

 

Hum, my dad was a drill sergeant up in Ft.Dix, which is closed now because the cold war is over. But, yeah, it's an interesting job. I think you'll like it. My dad seems to recall a lot fun memories of giving Privates hell.
