I really wish they had time warners road runner up here. never even had any problems even during hurricanes.. Only problem i had was the power. but that was a easy fix w/ a generator.

Change DNS servers in your router config then setup your computer and router to DHCP so it can refresh. From the command line (Start/Run/"cmd") type "ipconfig /flushdns" then "ipconfig /renew".

Is your AIM software setup for "login.oscar.aol.com" on port "5190" (default). Might also want to go with Trillian (www.trillian.cc) as a client.

I live downtown and the service pretty much sucks donkey dick. I've had them come out 4 times in this month alone to fix it. I've gone days without a connection and when it did come in, it was only for 20 minutes or so.

I've had comcast for about 3 years now...can't say I've had many problems. I just can't wait til Verizon brings FiOS over this way so I can switch over.

 

i live in southside and i usually get good connections and whatever, but lately it's been going on and off randomly which is really annoying
