The pick-up driver reported the incident to his insurance company, they contacted me, I sent the info to my insurance company and now I have $500 back in my account.

There are just as many dumbass careless retard drivers that drive cars and dent peoples shit in parking lots. Saying that all pickup truck drivers are careless drivers is an ignorant ass statement.

 

I didn't say all, but I feel that a great percentage of P/U drivers are ignorant than the percentage of car drivers.... though there are more cars on the road.

Naturally, pickup owners aren't innately worse drivers or bigger douchebags than the owners of other types of vehicles, that'd be fucking silly. The problem, however, is that even an average driver can become a bad driver when you upsize his vehicle by 100% and don't upsize his abilities.

You can sort of get away with driving a Civic like a cheesedick, because it's little and nimble and you can correct for shit easily. Drop that burger or that phone or whatever dumb fucking thing and the idiot can probably not kill himself or others. Take the same driver and put them in an F350 and...not so much.

Any body-on-frame truck chassis vehicle should require an additional license, like a mini-CDL. This would deter people from buying huge pickups and SUV's if they don't actually need one.


Anyway, I'm sure some redneck saw a sports car with an Obama sticker and decided to fuck your shit up. This is the advantage of moving somewhere with fewer stupid rednecks. Obviously, not all pickup drivers are stupid rednecks, but that doesn't mean none of them are either. If you live around a lot of such shitheads, you should probably not advertise your political affiliations, although that doesn't mean that they aren't still in the wrong for being blatant assholes about it.
