v-8's get crapy gas mileage????

Please don't think I'm knocking you, I'm a V8 guy at heart.

I'm just owning a Honda because of alot of reasons... If I was in the place to get a LS1 car, I'd do it in a heart beat.

I ran 80 mph to Danville the whole way. I averaged 40 mpg, in a B16a Coupe with a/c and powersteering.

I got 27.1 from Durham to Richmond 10 days ago... with a built H/C motor and seeing a lil boost here and there when the trip was getting boring.

23 mpg at 75 mph 2500 rpm in a V8 that's been ripped apart a few times and makes almost 12:1 compression.
