Turbo Upgrade
Short story: 2000 S4 w/blown turbos
Well I am in the market for a new set of turbos and so I am wondering if its worht it to put a set of K04's to replace the blown stock K03's in there while keeping everything else the same. Is it possible to upgrade just the turbos, manifolds and pipes that come with the kit or do I absolutely have to purchase the fuel management, MAF etc to go along with K04's ? I am getting a GIAC Program "X" ECU that has Stock, Pump, Race, Valet and Kill settings.
I also wonder if I should just stick with brand new stock replacements but seems a waste since the motor is already out to get things done. My main emphasis is reasonable amount of performance without sacrificing reliability.
