i dont read up on it much, I was refering to when it was still in the making. They were using stock turbo's so I assumed it was still that. All i remember was when it was the stock turbo's it was only making a little over 400whp.

just found this thread. I moved to Ga. in November.

Be different, go with the PT if you havent gotten a new car yet. Its alot more embarassing for mustang and vette owners when you beat them in a fucking PT.

Ive had a few. They are fun, and unexpected sleepers.

And I wouldnt buy anything from DCR. I have a few of their parts on my car and all of them have had to be sent back for warranty reasons, and I had to wait 4 months for a throttlebody and all they did was lie to me about shipping and stuff. Theres much better companies out there making just as good of a product.

stroker kit poorly machined
top end oil modifier with rough edges and was funky shaped compared to the other 6 ive bought
throttlebody leaked like a bitch
cams had rough edges....bad

have dealt with them on several cars now.

I like them at first and they had a great product range but i got nothing but bullshit everytime i tried to track down my parts or my money.

Darrell has always given me and the rest of the SRT crew here in the 757 top notch item/products. Of course we deal with him directly because James B. worked for him. Put us in a tight bond. Sorry about your past situation. I still feel as though they make great products, though their prices are up there compared to other companies prices, Fully Built for example.

The PT Cruiser performance enthusiast numbers are pretty high. The main PT forum for the ones modding their cars for speed has 20,000 members. DCR was a sponsor on our site and came in there talking about making us intercoolers and exhaust manifolds and intakes and other stuff that weve all had to make ourselves. He never really developed anything for us, sold a few twin turbo kits to some members and none of the cars run anymore. Theres been people sending back throttlebody cores and waiting months for refunds. I think he swept us under the rug. I have respect for what hes done and the cars hes built.

If someone made an aftermarket intercooler for our cars I guarantee probably 60 sales right off the bat.
