Civics didnt come with tint.

Now my old 05 Ranger came with 25 Percent all the way around, cept the windsheild, and i bought it brand new

 

I call bullshit on this whole story, because yes not only could you have been arrested, you could have been fined, and detained by the officer. Have you ever seen those signs all over the place at the water front about not cursing? That is vabeach law. There is no way a cop would just let you walk away, or "let you go with a warning" if you were as rude as you say you were.

Secondly, lots of things that are not made by Honda say Honda on them.
Maybe that is simply a designator for a precut sheet by a tint factory.

I have seen vabeach police pull people over, who were polite and pleasant to them and tell them that they needed to either remove the tint on the spot, or he would write them a ticket. So stop telling stories, its not impressive.

 

i think he was in williamsburg, not virginia beach. either way, don't curse at an officer... it's only going to make the situation worse.

typically there's no measurable "acceptable" noise level. if that was the case, every harley davidson on the road would have mufflers. "noisy" or quiet" is the LEO's discretion. and yes, it is illegal to modify your exhaust.

 

This is one of the only states that has the 50% tint on front windows.
AZ you can have it as dark as you want it- and if you have a doctors note/perscritption you can have the whole front tinted- or you can have an lower/upper eyebrow

Other states are 35%- Once you bring your car to a certain state, they can give you a fix it ticket or they'll leave you a warning if you are just driving thru

 

omg..... where did the VA beach thing come in?? this happened on 143 in williamsburg and i pulled in the goho audio parking lot.

i did say bullshit and fuck to the officer that day and the a few days later that week right across the street. the day in question with the tint i got off free and the next time i was put in handcuffs........

i dunno what the deal is.

i have two tint stickers on my windows, one says tempered safety tint and the other just says honda tint. they look almost identical.




and yeah i've been rolling with my windows down a lot more lately

 

oh and i saw another 98ish civic ex coupe on the highway last night with an almost identical tint and yeah...... lincoln continentals and towncars have really dark front tints too

 

Honda did not make any civic with tint on them, in your year. Now, Get the tint corrected, or don't complain, since you know it is illegal.

 

Wow...having a bleeding snatch over ILLEGAL tint. And cussing at an officer. I woulda thrown your ass in the backseat and taken you to jail.

 

it was 8:30 in the morning, i went to bed around 5:30-6:00am and i was on my way to get new tires mounted and an alignment after having my control arms basically exploded on me.


basically no bueno, i guess the cop was like its too early for this shit or something cause he let me go
