What track wear you at? Koreandragn said it though don't go crazy with droping the clutch and get MM inserts or have someone local fill your mounts. I found the best way to do it is get a set a DR's and use them though... But what do I know i cut 2.7 60 foot times lol! ---WTS: 4 street legal KDW "Slicks"---

As far as the wheel hop: I know you know wheel hop breaks shit. Does anyone make mount inserts that may help with that? They help tremendously on the GTI.

I don't think anyone was really running good at vmp last night, at least 4 cyl. wise. The only one that got a nice run was that all motor red hatch. I couldn't cut better then a 2.3 60' but did get the 13 I was shooting for.
Did you have the FWD 1G laser out there?
And I guess I wasnt slipping the clutch enough, I'll just have to practice more.

The most important part is to rev to 2k. It'll help with your throttle control some off the line...but if you rev to 2k, you can't just dump the clutch, feather that thing out like normal driving, but a bit faster with more throttle :P Some wheel spin and a little hop is ok...some filled mounts will solve the wheel hop too.

He had a bottle in the back.
Back on topic: Solid motor mounts will help alot. I got upper and lower from dynoworks for around $120 i think. It stops pretty much all of the wheelhop. They also come painted in all the colors the car comes in if you want to keep your engine bay looking pretty. I'll send you the link to them if you want. The only complaint i had was it took like a month and a half for me to get them. They definately make the car idle rougher and it's louder in the passenger compartment, it idles really rough when the AC is on but when driving it's just like stock.
