So uh...how in the hell do you launch a turbo FWD car
Seems what works best on srt's is to rev to 2k rpm's, and feather the clutch out through 1st gear. I run a pretty consistent 2.2 60ft, which is pretty good for a guy who goes to the track 2-4x a year.(Get some motormounts, those'll improve your times...I need to get some =P )
I'm going to be going to Hertford soon hopefully. I'm going to practice launching as much as possible there, hopefully I can get everything working like it should so I can get some halfway decent times.

um horrible. 14.7@95.7 was my best i think. They were all crap though. And I just checked, DA was at 2200ft last night
Gotta love 86 degrees and 75% humidity.

As far as the wheel hop: I know you know wheel hop breaks shit. Does anyone make mount inserts that may help with that? They help tremendously on the GTI.

this is how i launch shawn...
when i was only putting down 235 whp @ 6psi, i cut a 2.17 60' on michelin h-rated tires...not bad in my opinion...
everyone has a different techique though. you have to figure out what works for you.
