FYI, I wasn't replying to your post, rather the ones about a kit car. That's probably why I referred to the Skyline as a kit car in my post. I guess that was too complex for you to catch.

See thats why skylines cost so much
Figure after all that you buy the car and get it registered you are looking at a minimum of 5-10k to get a title
So you just paid 30k for a gts
Its easier to just buy one here

Well, considering a registered importer doesn't do that shit you were blabbing about, you're still wrong, AND it's very unrealistic. I love it when people bring up all these brilliant ways to import JDM cars. You'd think that if it were sooo incredibly easy, people with money would've thought of it already.

first of all what is your problem do u have like some really bad itch with people talking about car stuff on a car forum and please show me where i said it was EASY also like i said before if a person is willing to go through buying it, going through a RI, and getting it titled y wouldn't they have someone put it together

All I'm saying was if I knew someone who was willing to make a downpayment with a written contract of course signed by both parties and two witnesses (at least one from each party) and they would be willing to wait a week or two for a skyline that had either South Carolina or Virginia safety, emissions, VIN and registration... then would anybody be willing to do this?? I mean an R32 GTR would run around 30 grand... R32 GTS-t around 20... I would have to look into R33's but it would not be out of the question...
All I know is that after being in a GTR this friday... listening to the twin turbos spool up, having my head hit the seat and hearing the BOV... I just think its crazy how a GTR R32 can beat any S2000, 240, 350, IS300, and could probably beat a STi stock or with a bit of money put in it. I've been in all of these cars, and none of them, including the amazing STi or Evo, can compare to the style, feel, and pure perfection of the Skyline...
