So in the end, I'd say your saving yourself money on buying a salvaged car to modify.

Thats cool, its the people who don't mention the fact that its been salvaged, and you get screwed when you buy it.

Well appaerntly the didnt even know the vehicle had been in an accedent when they bought it. i had the vin and did a carfax and apperently thats the first time they heard of it having a salvage title. But it doesnt matter know cuz the car is mine!

so if you buy a car with a salvage title from another state and register it here, you get a clean title? if that's the case, dmv got my ass with my salvaged title.

or do you still have to get the inspector out here?

Sometimes it cleans itself. You bring an inspector out and I believe it becomes a rebuilt title.
