Default rebuild titles? help

can someone please explain to me what a rebuild title means. i googled it but didnt come up with much in noob terms lol.

heres the deal. thinkin about buying this car, well shell really. but it has a rebuild title. can that title ever be brought back to a good/normal/regular- what ever you call it title? i guess it would be called a clear/clean title.
also is there any stipulations that come with the rebuild title that i should know about? the car has a rebuild title from florida, could that be re titled in va?

i dont have anytime to stop by the dmv to ask these questions cause im always at work now, so i figured id see if someone on here can help me out.

thanks in advance.

I know before there were loopholes where you could bring cars from ny/pa/nj with repaired titles and get them transferred, inspected and issued a clean title. Now its very hard, once a car has repaired or rebuilt anywhere on it, thats there to stay, there is no more getting completely clean titles, when there is history of something wrong with it. Is it virginia rebuilt, or the florida car you want has a rebuilt title?

means it was totaled by insurance then "rebuilt" and inspected by dmv. can be insured but will never have a clean car fax. u can get it clean again but thats a big pain....insurance reports most totals.

remember rebuild and salvage titles are only worth half nada value.... and itll be hard to sell or get full coverage....

ur cars prolly a flood.... bad electrical and rust from salt water... check lower fuse box and relays for corrosion.

go to virginia dmv to get details about salvage and branded titles....
thats where i got my info
