I am inclined to just let the ticket stand as is. Take the voluntary driver improvement course. That will get me back up to a +4 score. It shouldn't be too bad I guess. I hope.

That stretch is real bad with the police. My parents live in WVa and everytime they come here or I go there someone is busted for something, mostly speeding. They sit at the bottom of the hills and clock you as you come down, straight dirty.

Well here is what has happend to me in Hampton. This happend last year and I have since learned my leasson on being a dumbass.
I got clocked doing 88 in a 55 on I-64. Went to court the following month. I was in line behind another dude who pleaded no contest. Cop gave his story dude gave his. Judge went in the Troopers favor and gave dude max fine. Something like 4 or 5 hundred bucks plus some community service time. I go up learning from his mistake and pleaded guilty. Got 3 hundred something bucks for a fine and that was it.
That is in hampton though...good luck with yours. I would not think you would need a lawer though. If you have a perfect driving record get a copy of that and take it in there and ask for a reduced sentence. That is what someone guy did after me and it worked. Just depends on the judge I guess.

thats exactly right, FC is the first place i saw someone marking tires in town. f'in rediculous. but thats their only source of income so you have to watch out. same thing entering LC from WVA as well.
