Need to get out of a reckless ticket!
i got a reckless speeding ticket last night on 64E doing 79/55, right before my freaking exit (indian river).
i am thinking about getting my car calibrated for court, but i know for damn sure its not off because i use my stock meshes (99 integra ls) and i just got new tires.
people have recommended Speedometer Calibration Center off of VA Beach Blvd. do they hook you up??? i need 5 under to get right below reckless. are those affidavits legit, and do they work in court?

i know a person who got a garage to claim that the speedometer oscillates (bounces up and down) so it couldnt get an accurate reading...so she ended up getting a fine for inoperatble equipment instead of the ticket...could try that.

I got a 90/55 and I knew a calibration was going to do no good. So I thought for awhile and since i had a new tranmission installed i had the guys that installed it to write me up a receipt stating that my transmission had the stock cable and plug assembly used instead of an aftermarket one that goes with the new transmission. So the guys at the shop couldnt even calibrate it so they hooked up a machine that reads signal and codes that come off the transmissio and they were off a lot. So they had to order me a new cable and wire harness for the transmission. This in return should make the speedo oscillate.
what happened to you guys when you got your first reckless ticket, if you've gotten one?
