Default reckless operation ticket, Wythe County VA

Can anyone tell me any info?

I was passing through VA going to the Super Street Tour and got a reckless op ticket in Wythe Co. I was wondering about how much the fine will be. Or, being from Ohio, if the ticket will follow me back to Cincinnati? I have a court date Oct. 16. I'm not going and will have to phone in my plea. Does VA have a "no contest" plea like Ohio? If any one could help me it would be GREATLY appreciated.

You're fucked.

Get a lawyer and get back to court.

In Virginia this is a criminal violation and a mandatory court appearance. The judge has the option of fining you up to $2500 plus one year in jail. Jail time is unusual but does happen, especially if your speed exceeded 100mph. They will put you in cuffs and you will go straight to jail.

II. Virginia Speeding Ticket - Out of State License

Virginia will report your speeding ticket back to your home state and it will be posted to your driving record and treated just as if the ticket was issued in your home state. Some states do not enter minor out of state speeding tickets so check with your DMV to be certain what effect the Virginia speeding ticket will have on your license before you just send in your money.

LOL again.... but it won't be that bad. I was charged with reckless driving 102(clocked) in a 55 cough165+cough and misdemeanor evading. When I was convicted, I was sentenced to 6 months, and a $1600 fine. I appealed, and was acquitted.
