I agree with the fact that radar detectors do nothing but encourage speeding. knowing you have a brand new product that will detect cops in the miles ahead will only lead you to try and test the clock on how fast you can get to your destination.
it's not hard to understand that the speedlimit on highways is 65, 4 lane highways are 55, rural roads are 40, neighborhoods are 25.

I'm no genius, but I'm pretty sure that since the other 49 states have either repealed or never had radar detector bans, there must have been SOME intelligent reasoning behind the decisions... The real question should be, why is Virginia the ONLY state that has the law still in place?

So you write your rep and tell him or her not to support the legislation. Others who feel differently should do the opposite. Me, I think when the FCC says people have a right to access the radio signals, people ought to have the right.

I wrote to my delegate. everyone should do it so they wont get those retarded fines for having a detector in their car. plus i work at bestbuy and i can get a ballin discount for myself on these detectors, but they wont let me purchase them from va and ship to va

If you support the pot legalization movement (I don't), you're probably better served by writing the committee members before they vote the next time around.
